It has a top flap that latches closed, with a zipper and then another zipper pocket inside. 5 stars for safety, I would definitely feel comfortable carrying this bag without worry that anything would fall out or anything.The quality is wonderful as well: screws hold the strap on place, the gold hardware for the latch is l screwed in as well, the stitching looks sturdy, and it’s made of a thick leather type material. I bought another bag from a company (jwp*i) and it was so thin and flimsy that I was surprised it cost more than twice what I paid for this bag.1000% worth the money, I highly recommend.
